After leaving camp, I felt such confidence in my queer identity and what being accepted not only felt like, but looked like. It was such a relief to be in a space where I knew I was safe and loved without a second thought.
I left with a sense of belonging, community, and the firm realization that this is what home should always feel like.

A five-day event focused on building queer community, making connections, and revisiting your inner child.
My first year at Camp Pride was nothing short of affirming. At 42, as a trans man who came out later in life, I worried I’d feel out of place. Instead, from the moment I stepped on campus, I was met with intentionality, representation across the board, and a space where I instantly felt valid, safe, and seen. Camp Pride truly embodies inclusivity and creates a community where everyone belongs.

Camp Pride was genuinely this year’s highlight! I went into camp being nervous about being alone–especially as a Black woman, since queer spaces don’t usually include us in the concept–but I ended up leaving with a support system I never thought was possible, friends I’m still hanging out with today, and knowing that there’s a place I can come back to every year and be myself without worry.

YES. Camp Pride only has room for 150 camp attendees. There are 60 bunk beds available, 35 van parking spots available, 30 general car parking spots available, and 30 tent sites available.
Attendee check-in will open on the morning of Tuesday, July 9th and will be open that day until 5:00 PM. At that time, the gates will be closed for security.
If there is a special circumstance, such as a flight arriving later in the day, please email vanlifepride@gmail.com as soon as you’re aware. We will do our best to accommodate but please know it is up to the team’s discretion based on availability, staffing, etc.
Yes, pets (dogs, cats, etc.) are allowed outside on the property with a strict, enforced leash policy. Pets are not permitted to enter any cabins, the lodge, the dining hall, or any other facility structures on the property. You will be asked to leave if you do not leash your pet(s).
We pride ourselves on hosting a very inclusive and safe space. Having pets on leashes is a property policy but also allows those who own cats or reactive dogs the opportunity to safely participate in this event.
If you are purchasing a bunk bed ticket for overnight accommodations, please note you will not be allowed to bring your pet(s). If you are tent camping we strongly discourage bringing your pets as the summer months in Oregon can get quite hot and leaving your pet inside your tent will not be allowed.
We strongly discourage bringing pets to the communal spaces and to workshops as this may be distracting to other campers. Allowing pets is to accommodate folks who travel full time with their furry companions. If you are not a full time traveler, we ask that you kindly leave your pets at home.
By attending this event you agree to possibly be on camera. Please note that whenever you are in community spaces there is always the possibility of being filmed.
Camp Pride is an event only for individuals 21 and older.
Unfortunately not. There will be no in-and-out-privileges during the event due to the nature of vehicle parking and event space layout. Leaving the facilities with the intention to return will be permitted for emergencies only.
All Camp Pride ticket sales are final. Tickets are identity-based, and individuals will be permitted to enter the Event grounds only if the name on their identification matches the name on record for the ticket they are holding. This is due to Camp Pride being an event only for individuals 21 and older, and the nature of limited sleeping accommodations on the property. Thank you for understanding.
While we love and cherish our allies dearly, this event was created solely for queer-identifying individuals. Thank you for understanding and respecting this space.
